How About a Notch of High Speed Flaps For The 190's?

I've heard all kinds of tales and stories as to why the 109s' and 190s' dont have them in the game.

The way I see it... They had the brains, skills and means to make a rocket fly at ungodly speeds for the time, it could employ flaps nearly whenever it felt like it. Then you have the 262 which has flaps like the 51s that come down while over mach 1.

I dont beleive that the germans were stupid enough not to make them strong enough on the 109's and 190's. I've read stories about german pilots deploying flaps in a sticky situation at high speeds. If I had a scanner i'd scan it into the BB for ya. Not that itd make much difference though. SOME history/fact psycho will come along and say that the pilot is or was a liar.

The real handicap is that all of these LW planes will not extend flaps till you hit speeds of -160.  Sad thing is that none of these planes really handle well nor turn well at these speeds (with a couple exceptions).  If you are -160 in a dogfight, in a LW bird against anything other than a c47 or the same plane that you are in, you will probably die a fiery death =)

Reason the P51D is such a good plane in my opinion, you can drop those flaps at 300+, really gets that nose around in a hurry.

Old subject, and like perking the LA7 it ain't gonna happen.

There is too much conflicting evidence about when and how the flaps on the 190's could be deployed.
