Look... all drinkers pay alcohol taxes. I think the least the government could do in return is supply free taxi service to anyone that has had any alcohol in the last 24 hours. That's fair.

It has been under discussion over here, too.
However only in the case of drunk drivers - either their drivers license is taken away or they have to install an alcolock and use it for a while.

I'm not for installing alcolock in every car though.
I don't like the idea of giving a breath example every time I start the car.
Besides I'm unusually sober for a finn.

The could simply ban the use of alcohol. Afterall, similar laws banning drug use in this country have been incredibly successful.

in the long term it would save people money (in socialist paradises like canada anyway:rolleyes: ) because we wouldnt be spending as much to treat people involved in alcohol related accidents.



easy to beat? probably no easier than it is  to break into the average home.

thats why I've decided to get one of them super accurate paintball guns comlete with sniper scope.

Guess what my favorite targt is gonna be?

Oh and I hope they dont think of using the same type radar systems they have on those signs tell you how fast your going to get people to slow down.

Those things are super innaccurate.
And usually NOT in your favor

A majority of doppler radar errors will in fact be in your (the driver's) favor.  Cosine error is the most common and it always causes speed to be reported low.    The few errors which cause speed to be "not in your favor" are generally caused in moving mode, which is a non-factor to a stationary unit.

I've suggested the same thing several times before. Here's the drawbacks:
It would cost the local governments Millions in fines, probationary fees, and put 100's of probation officers and social workers out of work.

It would add roughly $100 to the cost of a new car.

It would save lives. (And we can't have that now, can we?)
