Hidden Camera

At work, need a camera to monitor a groomer, we have reason to belive she is hitting dogs.

What kind of cheap options do we have?

Required:
B&W Image
Affordable
Realiable
Hidden

No sound needed, just a real time image recorder..

Anyone else got any tips?

Cause we can't take her down hard with out evidence, and we want to take her down extremely hard.

If there is a PC in the room you can use a simple web cam and D/L some simple software for it.

What are your intentions? Legal or just getting them fired?

Have you considered direct confrontation?

How about bringing in a pit bull?

This a co-worker? or somebody your family uses to groom your pet?

Had a mailman kick my dog thru a screen door when I was a kid..  so I let the dog out. Dog spent 14 days in quarantine, mailman spent 2 days in the hospital. Never saw that guy delivering mail again.

Don't know if they still have them or not but those little X10 camera's were cheap and from what a couple people told me they worked fairly well.

Neither..

We've had direct confrontation..

She refused to admit or deny..

Legal action will be taken.

She's going down, and she's going down hard, wether in the court or by word of mouth.

All our pitbulls that come to our Hospital will more than likely lick you to death before biting you....

But we do have the occasional Protection Trained dogs.

With a wireless transmitter you can place the receiver and VCR up to 150 feet away within the confines of the building. If the camera is near an outer wall, you can have the VCR as far away as 700 feet.

Ultimately, the question goes to how much you are willing to spend. You can expect to spend $400 at a minimum.

My brother's neighbor (a police officer for the adjacent county) was having problems with someone vandalizing his property (mailbox, light fixtures, etc) and he spent about $450 to install a motion sensing video camera, wired to a VCR in his garage. Within two weeks he had video of three local kids smashing his light fixture.

He showed the tape to their parents after the boys were picked up for vandalism. They not only paid for several mail boxes and light fixtures, they payed for the camera too. Their options were limited... Pay all expenses or their little darlings would be prosecuted. According to my brother, there's been no vandalism in the neighborhood since. Apparently, the little monsters didn't realize that the house they were targeting was the home of a cop... Stupid is as stupid does.

Sorry, guess the ebay link busted.  Just search for "security camera", there are a bunch of very inexpensive cameras, wireless and wired, that will fit the bill.  The wireless ones all come with a receiver.  I've used them with good luck at my pizza stores as well as on the R/C tank I used to explore my crawlspace.
