Welcome Cactus Air Force!
« on: September 26, 2005, 10:04:26 PM »
Hope you guys come to enjoy Squad Operations as much as we have. :)

Don't forget to add a 2nd e-mail (X.O.) to your squad on the Squad Ops page. That way if your C.O. is not around someone else can be contacted. :)

Now if only the ~Hells Angels~ and Silent Executioners would step in and say hello we would have "3" new Squads in Squad Operations. ;)

The CAF has flown with the 327th as guests in the FSO, I'm certain you'll find these guys to be everything you'd want in FSO team players. It will be great to have them onboard.

That was a great short clip. Only took me 25 minutes to download it with my wonderful connect.

How did you capture your film? Fraps?

Hi Daddog,
My sincere thanks for the "welcome aboard".  While our
squadron itself is almost 11 years old now and dates back to the
Air Warrior For DOS days, we are, as a squad new to the "FSO".
I had a wonderful time with the first one and I am very much
looking forward to the next, which begins this Friday. I think
the vast majority of The Cactus Air Force who have thus
far attended will continue to do so. From what I understand,
my X.O. , Scotch will be jacking up our quota by a few slots
in order to accomodate all CAF who show up. Thus far we've
had to "loan out" a squaddie or two in order not to
exceed the quota. (Last week I had the pleasure of
flying with the "Silent Executioners" who not only conducted
themselves with professionalism and dedication to the Allied
effort, but also extended every courtesy to me. My compliments
to them. Should the occasion present itself again, it would be
my pleasure to join 'em.
I'd like to take a moment to thank both the folks who
organize and administer the "FSO". Without their efforts,
there would be none; and I would be relegated to flying
about in the Main Arena as opposed to having the opportunity
as I do now, to participate in a small scale scenario once
a week.
As well, my thanks go out to all the Commanding Officers,
Executive Officers and Ops Officers of the various squadrons
who participate, along with all of their squadmates. It is
their commitment of time, effort, and skills which have
afforded me the fun I have had in the past three weeks.
I look forward to many more Fridays!

Regards,
Oddball
