Well, for a while I was at school over the summer.  There were no cars, no people, no (guy) freshmen.  It was awesome!

But now it's started up again and it's tight with traffic.

There was a mini gas "crisis" here for a few days, but all that happened was a couple of stations ran out of gas because a bunch of people filled up their tanks when they were only 1/4 empty instead of waiting as usual.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

No doubt....right up until you are killed in a hideous crash.

I only hope you are the only victim.

Why the hell are you talking about car crashes and going to hell?

Must be an inside joke,  Lazs has already been to hell.  Hot Rods to Hell is Lazs favorite movie.:)

Took my motorcycle out for a ride last Saturday, after 15 minutes I turned around and went home. More cars than ever on the roads around here, even the lonely back roads have cars all over the place. :(

I live in Fleetwood which is between Reading and Allentown. The whole area is getting developed, huge housing developments going up everywhere.

When I was a kid the drive from my house to Reading was through fields, now it's through housing developments. Makes me sick.

Lazs! Y'ole willy-woofer! :D

Earlier this month, I drove up to your ancestral seat - Scotland! There I discovered what is now my favourite road in the UK - the A82 from the Glasgow area up to Fort William. I was winding the Golf in and out of those bends - touching 90 sometimes, but having to slow down for the curves.

Previously, my favourite road was the A303 which I'm sure Mr. Toad has used on his jaunts to Devonshire! :p

Coming back from Scotland was all down the motorways - 80/90 speed - by the time we got to Leicester (430 miles) I'd averaged 52mpg. Good job, as there was the threat of a fuel shortage that week.
