Need Bridge too Far.

"A Boy and his Dog"!  What a classic.  You could watch to whole movie just to hear the dog say at the end, "...Yeah, but she had great taste.".

I don't know if it's on DVD, but "The Profesionals" is the best Western ever made (well, that and True Grit).

Hehe, I think I missed a few, so I'll have to update when I get home and can check my collection.

As you can see, I'm a huge classic movie fan. I enjoy modern film, too, but to a lesser degree. Alfred Hitchcock is my favorite director, along with Stanley Kramer, John Frankenheimer and Stanley Kubrick. I'm a James Bond snob, as Sean Connery will always be the James Bond to me. As soon as Connery left, the series has never been the same in quality or style.

Isn't that just a shame?!  I own it because I had to, but why can't it be in widescreen?  At least it ain't as bad as Ghostbusters in pan&scan.  Have you ever seen it on network TV, with the camera whipping digitally back and forth...aweful.

Anyone know offhand if "Sorcerer" (Friedkin directed, remake of French "Wages of Fear") is on DVD yet? Great movie.

Deja,

You need to add "Dogma" to your list in order to complete the "Clerks/MallRats" thingie you got going there.

A fine list for sure though....

I'll add "Chasing Amy" long before "Dogma".  I didn't think "Dogma" was one of Kevin's better films.  Some good parts... but kinda lame overall.

If you're going to own "Toxic Avenger", well, then "Space Balls" is a must see.
