yeah i believe thats the whole problem, they figure whats the point HTC is ending their service in a week so im sure they arent at the top of the list for fixes.

I can certainly understand and appreciate the frustration people are having.  See this thread for a discussion on what is going on.

Also, I would like to know, is everyone getting the arena list just fine and just failing to get a connect to an arena (i.e. your login/password screen is no problem)?

Yes, I got to the arena list (just checked - from Tampere, Finland), it was after I selected MA from the list that I got thrown back to the login prompt.

Getting the list just fine. Succeeded in getting in to the arena aswell but it took long.

Wasn't able to to get in a couple of days ago but did get the list.

Hello Skuzzy,

I had a few burbs getting into the arena - Retried 3 times. Once there, my connection immediately switches to TCP (on multiple logins) but the game is still playable. My ping is steady at 140.

What I'm seeing Oct 18, 10:20 EDT -
When I get to the arena entry screen, MA shows 117 with pings of 107-125
When I prompt the MA button I'm kicked back to password send. A resend of password results in Host Connection Lost.

So much for an hour of goofing off this morning

Last night when I posted it took longer than usual time for the clipboard with the arenas to come up on screen. When it did appear, all the Ping details were fine. When I logged into the MA I would get there and maybe hear 1 sec of vox, but no radio bar text updates, no radar bars. Within a few seconds came the switch to TCP, then a few seconds later the host connection lost and disconnect back to my desktop.

This is what happens almost every time:  I get into the arena and the first message I get is the "Lost UDP Switching to TCP" or whatever.  Not long after that I lose the host connection.

Sometimes I can stay on for a bit, but I always lose UDP right away.

I get to the arena menu ok, click on the MA and it either takes 10 secs or so before the loading texture bar starts or goes to Host Connection lost.   Longest amount of tries to enter MA was 4 times last night.  After entering I checked net status and was mostly a flat line at the reference.

Not sure if it means anything but when I have Zone Alarm enabled I get the Lost UDP message after entering the arena.   When I disable Zone Alarm I don't get Lost UDP message.

The reason I asked, is we have already made the cut-over to AT&T in our Grapevine office.  And if you are getting to the arena list fine, this verifies the AT&T side is doing fine.

We have had a slight annoyance which will prevent us from getting the MA server up today at the AT&T location.

I'm getting to the arena list and when I click on the MA it launches...I am in
 the tower...I can hear people on vox...then after about 20 sec of this I get
 the switch to TCP message...still hear people on vox....then about 20 sec later AH quits and I am at my desktop.  
It's weird that I hear squadies on vox but no text comes up (except for the
 switch to TCP message) and the roster is blank.

I just saw this post, tried it, got right in.  Arena has a bunch of peeps in there.

Managed to get in two more tries and about ten min later.
First time got into the arena and was promply discoed.
Second time got right in.

When I posted I was figuring that it might be a few days before everything was set up for all areas of the country

Skuzzy. not a matter of frustration on my part as much as just letting you all know whats going on on my end.

I've experianced enough changes over the years from websites I visit to games like AW and now AH to know that things rarely go as smoothly as planned or hoped for. So I honestly didnt expect that there wouldnt be any glitches.

I also figured it would take a bit of time beforre everyone from all areas woud be able to get full access. which was why I was asking if there was some sort of time table as to what would be up and when

Just doing what I can to let you know what Im seeing on my end in hopes that perhaps by chance some tidbit I see may provide a clue to help the situation.
