No graphics beyond 3+ miles
« on: October 17, 2005, 10:16:31 PM »
This only happens when I'm online.  After takeoff I lose sight of the ground/map graphcs out beyond 3+ miles. I can watch the mountains grow higher as I approach them. All around me the edges of the map are visible, though there does appear to be a horizon. I've check all of the settings of my new Radeon X850 Pro-all default settings, XP Direct 9c installed. All game graphics settings are defualt. Can't seem to get a handle on the problem and I'm tired of getting shot down from things I can't see, but know are there.

I have an X850XT and no problems.  Make sure your details are set properly (vis range) and also set full visibility (SHIFT F1) and you should be able to see full range.

You can change your visial range by pressing shift+f1, shift+f2, and shift+f3 for full, medium, and short visual rang respectively.
