Eric Hartman contest win prize
« on: October 24, 2005, 03:30:43 PM »
Taking GHI's idea and making contest. This is signup page, any questions or comments on rules please see ghi's topic.

Are you a Eric Hartman clone

to win you must have atleast 352 kill in these two combined planes only & no deaths and 5 max bails or ditches. Any Death and contest is over for you........

1. You may only Fly 109g6 or g10 entire time your in contest ( 1 exception you may fly goon)

2. You must record every kill and post them at least once per week. ( film every sortie, end of day view films get names post them then i don't care if you save films or not)

3. You must sign up on this topic  before next TOD starts nov 1 to be in contest. ( this will help me track killed and kills)

4. First prize is 6 months ace's high.

5. In case of tie  person with least amount of hours in contest will win.

There will be no winner of grand prize 6 months subscription if no one reaches 352 kills no deaths or more than 5 bails or ditches.

if no winner person with most kills in these two planes for entire tod will win 2 months aH.

please post if your interested in this contest either as as Eric or as a eric hunter. ( were thinking of putting bounty on eric hartmans just like bounty that was put on hartman himself)

no and please just  post if your interested in tourney.

This is for players put together by players.

if we get alot of guys to try this contest I'm thinking of making contest to see  who can kill the most eric hartman wannabes. Thinking 3 months subscription to who ever kills most of these Erics. while flying only allied aircraft. This is still in thought process..........

Dale or Roy Could you please delete anypost to this topic that doesn't pertain to signup  TY.

You should just have the contest begin at the start of the next tour. This way it will be far easier to track kills etc...

Also the G-10 will be gone from AH after the next(?) patch. But you will gain the G-14. Hartmann flew both the G-6 and G-14 so it should not be a problem.

I'm not sure I can fly that much next tour, but I'll give it a shot.  109's are my main ride anyway.  Should be fun with the new 109's coming soon as well.

Rod, rule #1 would make the contest too boring, i would say you can die in any other planes but not in 109s.
 Anyone agree?

I'd say that you're only allowed to fly 109's in the Fighter category.  You can fly anything else in bomber, GV's and Attack Category.

I'd join in a Heartbeat, but my squad flies on certain nights.  When they are flying, I have no choice as to what I fly.

oooooo.... you can sign me up.  You'll have to make rules reguarding the film posting more specific though.

When do we post film, where, how often, and yadda yadda...

You don't have to post films just watch own films  and let me know by boards who you killed, so i can double check...

so you would type today 6 kills   GHI Bose  bgbmaw  so on then i could go do check.....

GHI  Maybe we can meet halfway   your sorties in other planes can not out number your 109 sorties fair?

Anyway, they make no mention of asking questions as it relates to 'understanding' some one.

You typed whatever that was out, at least could do is explain what it means. Otherwise how would one know if they are on topic or not?

I am totally lost in this thread.  I wouldn't mind signing up for it, but if I can only fly the 109, might as well hang me up for another year then.  Will this contest last as long as it took Erich Hartman to achieve 352 kills?  Notice the spelling of his first name, would be nice to at least spell it right for a man who is number 1 on the kill sheets.
