I hope like hell every nation on this planet bans US televison programing.

And, I hope like hell that Hollywood implodes.

Russian got it right; nailed it square.

I'm not a wetback but I date one.

I hate the crap that is 90% of the entertainment industry.... I also hate 90% of the crap that PBS and subsidised entertainment industry puts out...

That is a good thing... I don't want to spend a lot of time in front of the tube.   I also don't want to tell people that they can't watch survivor or cribs or any of a number of inane programs... it's their time to do with as they please.

I don't want to pay taxes to subsidise PBS having a mini series on the composition of irish peat moss for 6 weeks either.  Or watch their endless guilt trip "fund drives"...

c'mon guys, give the French a break. When your a has-been nation who hasn't had any real power or influence in the world for several hundred years it's only natural to make excuses for your shortcomings.

Some of you guys amaze me. You don't like Hollywood, and yet you're offended that France doesn't either.

It's not just France. France is gettiing this passed "on a global level" and it's aimed at the US, it seems.

Rule #422
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Great idea.

But we are going to have to keep Boston Legal and Family Guy... for educational purposes of course.
