Sure, they might last a long time, but who wants to own one for a long time? I pity someone stuck driving a Corolla or any Honda or such for any length of time.
They're good cars for what they're built for--running around in congested city traffic under the care of people who know little to nothing about cars and can't/won't provide much maintenance. However, seeing as I don't live in a crowded city and I don't mind getting my hands dirty, I have no use for a cramped, uncomfortable, unsafe, stiff, flimsy, annoying little sardine can.
Actually, I have a single use for them...I'd rather hit an Accord than another Roadmaster.
On an entirely different note, does anyone else agree the term "sporty car" really just means "standard underpowered piece of junk with additional plastic molding so it appeals to women and stupid kids"?
