Waco is certainly an interesting place.

Mr Brann was shot by a Baylor supporter, but managed to shoot dead his assailant before dying from his wounds.

The most notorious incident happened in 1993, when a stand-off between federal agents and a religious sect, the Branch Davidians, resulted in their compound being destroyed by fire, with the loss of 76 lives.

Definately a tragedy, and I definately don't think his kids & wife are thinking it is funny. Kind of hard to believe anyone in our society would look upon deaths of others as "funny". Guess it tells alot about what type person would think it is funny.

Just for kicks... if it was an atheist who was electrocuted immediately after publicly saying "if there is a god, let him strike me down!" would you be as somber?
