Sure, they're for smaller government, fiscal responsibility, individual rights, and less government spending, right?  The current administration sure stuck to its convictions in all of those regards.

Those would be conservitive views, Bush isnt much of a conservitive.

Just like the dems, the republicans have no clue what their base or the people want, and don't give a ****.

McCain is an appeaser.  He and his ilk should be movved to a special party called the "appeasement party" where they belong.

I think this is a great idea.   Watch out though, he might grab 70% of the electorate right out of the middle.

Oboe, he may well do just that.  Although I feel he is too damn wishy washy to be the president.

Like Bush or not, atleast he has stood by what he believed in too date and has not played to the crowd.  Especially considering the crowd is so ill informed it is disgusting.

Cripes, I wish 'ol Bob Dole would run again.

Loved that guy, thought he was the only honest politician I ever saw.

Principles are so outdated these days.
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

I only ever met one honest politician in my life.

Say what you like about his politics, that little guy with the bow tie was one helluva human being.

I agree.  McCain is wishy washy.  But he's probably better than the alternatives.

I wouldn't vote for mccain unless a democrat would get in if I didn't vote for him.

He is the manchurian candidate in my opinion.

I think that supporting Arnie is a way for him to curry some favor with the more conservative republicans who view him like I do...  Most of us view him as "allmost as bad as a full blown democrat but without the baggage they carry"

He doesn't owe or have friends in the union and isn't likely to no matter what so it doesn't hurt him to go against them here.... only helps..

He isn't likely to woo the far left so being for parental notification only helps him not hurts..

He can woo more conservatives by being for a balanced budget in kalifornia..  Teachers ain't gonna vote for him anyway...

He is playing it smart and getting some publicity by stepping up and backing Arnies propositions.
