I heard B-17s are next for restoration and they might add B-17F for ToD 1943 8th AF vs LW.

How about this for 2.07? overhaul some FW-190 lineup

for example, add FW-190A-4 (1942-43 era), replace 190A-5 with 190A-6 (1943-44), and put BMW 801 TS engine on 190A-8/F-8 (middle-late 1944 to 1945) for better low alt performance against Spit XVI, La-7, typhoon and P-51. The 190D-9 is fine and Ta-152 should be converted to AH2 standards.

Didn't they already redo the 190s? Can't imagine they'd redo them again with other birds still not up to AH2 standards.

nevermind about the 190A-6

the A5 we have is a *Frankenstein*, just like the Spit 9 and 109G-10. im hoping the early 190As will be fixed to real 190A-5... or change it to A-4. In r/l 190A-5 is a dog and i think 190A-4 should should fill the void for mid-war 190s

The AH performance curves are the same as the USN curves for the aforementioned aircraft.

Personally the next aircraft updates I would like to see would be the F4U Family.....If HTC follows the trend of updating a type aircraft with multiple airframes than the Hogs should be next

We have the F4u-1, F4u1D, F4u1C and finally th F4u-4

Id love to maybe throw in an F6F while your at it

Hmm, I think the "trend" is aircraft that will see use in ToD, not multi-airframe kites.

B-17 is next, after that who knows.

F4Us do need it badly though, as do the La-5FN, La-7 and N1K2-J.

I have to agree with Cav... The blue birds could use some TLC. The F6 and the F4U's cockpits almost look the same as they did in WarBirds 2.77

Not only that, but they also happen to get quite a bit of use so you know their update would be greatly appreciated.

Having said that, I know that their update will probably have to wait until 2.08 (or beyond?).

So for the next update, I'm guessing we see the B-17, and maybe a B-24D(?) But I'd also wouldn't mind seeing a 190A-4, and maybe a P-40M or N

And last but not least... how about a P-39? And forget the hanger queen arguments guys... It's well know that under 10K the P-39 was quite the machine, and since most of the fights we get in occure occure around 5K or below, I'm guessing she'll hold her own. Besides, It will give us another option for VVS birds, and also saw extensive use in the Pacific...sounds pretty win win to me.

1K3, I'd agree with your general premises on the Fw190s..

..but IMO enough is enough. Too many posts about the same issue from one person, doesn't look all too good.

Like others have said, it looks the 190s are finished for the moment. The ToD will be starting off from 1943, and the planes they need, are already there. They've still got 50+ planes left to bring upto AH standards, and that's a lot of work.

So, let's try to keep the 190 request in just one thread, instead of making up more and more of the same thing.. My 2 cents.

Agreed, and add a new variant of the F6F make it a F6f-3
