His complete failure to deal with the terroist Osama Bin Laden and the subsequent attack against America just after he left office.

It's quite the wonder that man can sleep at night.  I am sure it is not hard, on $1000.00 sheets that were paid for in blood by 3030 killed on Sept 11, especially for a man that lies in court.

You couldn't possibly be insinuating that Clinton was a bad president or that he committed a crime?  *GASP!*

Well, we saw evil accelerate under Clinton, terrorists acts in the USA went unpunished, and now under Bush the Taliban is a shattered regime, and Al Queda has suffered loss of over 75% of their leaders, Osama Bin Laden is in hiding, and there hasnt been a successful terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11, which happened basically because of Clintons appalling failures to do anything about terrorist around the globe.

So, yes, I would agree that we are luck to have Bush making us safer.

Add Clinton and the justice department to the list of Liars.

in 1998, Clinton's Justice Department indicted bin Laden. Count 4 of the indictment has a paragraph that reads.

Al Qaeda also forged alliances with the National Islamic Front in the Sudan and with the government of Iran and its associated terrorist group Hezballah for the purpose of working together against their perceived common enemies in the West, particularly the United States. In addition, al Qaeda reached an understanding with the government of Iraq that al Qaeda would not work against that government and that on particular projects, specifically including weapons development, al Qaeda would work cooperatively with the Government of Iraq.

Hehe.. you guys are making my night. Can you show me the "evil acceleration" index for the Clinton years?

And there were exactly how many terrorist attacks on American soil during Clinton's presidency.. after WTC1?

Those numbers are looking damned good considering the economy hit its low point during Clinton's reign (March 2000). Add 9/11 and a war, and its looking damned good!

Too bad Clinton did little to turn the economy around.
He didnt haveto as it was already poised for the upswing.

Prior to Clinton ever swearing in I remember economists saying that all Clinton had to do for the economy to improve was abosultely nothing.

On the other hand. He did let the economy run away with resulted in the bubble which inevitably burst. I also remember during the runaway economy greenspan predicting its eventual steep drop if nothing was done and saying and I quote exactly "I would love to stick a pin in this bubble"

Clinton was the benifited by chance because he happened to be president and inherit an economy poised for an an economic upswing.

Bush inherited an economy already on the decline.

It is merely by circumstance that each gets undeserved credit or blame for the economical situations during their presidencies.

The economy was peaked 3 years after March 2000, before GW2. No deficit other than 9/11 and Homeland security, sir.

How is it there isn't one US politician impervious to any BS, who knows better than not to take the best from both sides and just get things done right?
He(she?) probably wouldn't have to break records of integrity or accomplishment right away, just show a continuous improvement in leadership.
