OK guys this past Saturday my son's 85LB team (all 3rd graders) polished off the season with a 7-0 win in the league championship game. Go check out the website with their game summary on there.

Congrats! Fine looking team! I bet your proud!

I think I told you in another thread, but we won our conference too!  We had an extra game yesterday called "Battle of the Sound" (Puget Sound) that pitted the Puget Sound conference against our Cascade Conference. It went into overtime 0-0, defensive battle! The other team got the ball first on the 10 yard line, and scored, then they missed the conversion. We were next. First play from line of scrimmage our star QB took it on a quarterback draw and fumbled into the endzone, then out of the endzone. Touchback. Game over, we lost 6-0. Bittersweet ending to a great season!

Yes we are all very proud of these kids and most of them were returning players from last years runner-up in the playoffs. My son came up with a little motto he would say before every game "Unfinished Business". Some times I think he watches to much NFL network TV with me but its cool because he looks up to guys who do the right thing on and off the field.

In the post game photo my son is the 6th from the right on the back row and in the team photo he is 4th from the right on the back row...number 90...I am the coach in the middle on the team photo.
