Only other HMS equipped aircraft in the U.S. inventory is the TADS (Target Acquisition and Designation System)  monicle sight on the AH-64.

The F/A-18E/F has the JHMCS, and it is operational and in the Fleet now.

How's about going the other direction?  What about a WWI AH arena?

Camels, Se5a's, Pups, Albatrosses, Gothas, etc...

Strikes me a just as much fun as going jet.  Picture GV'ing in WW1 era tanks...ooof

Indeed the Soviets latest generations are comparable, my mistake to not bring them up. They even tried a stealth didn't they? I forget the designation or who made it, but I remember seeing it on Wings when that was on plain old Discovery channel.

I think Beyond 2000 came on after it, I WANT MY FLYING CAR

We cant even get a B-26 or He111....Do you really think we will ever get Mig 15's and sabres?  doubtfully.....Its a cool idea though..

I also like the WWI idea....Little rickenbackers and richtovens flying around in bi/tri planes...thatd be fun =)......What kinda guns did WWI aircraft use?  .303's..7.77?

i think ww1 would be cool, with AI ground troops, and gvs and such, that way the war effort would bee focused around what was really important in ww1, close air support. i like hte thought of attacking automated gvs and troops columns, not becasue they wouldnt fight back as well but because thats somthing that rarely happens in ah, but was really what the war was about.

WW1 would definately be more fun than a 'modern' or 'early jet age' based version of AH2.

Same for me. Modern air combat seems to be more about weapons system management than flying.

If it doesn't have a propellor, it should never be modeled.
