The kill ratios are misleading. LA7s and Nikis are flown in a more BnZ style for the most part. Make a pass, and run away. The spit16 is being flown on the deck, in furballs. Make no mistake..the Spit16 in this game is a MUCH better plane than a Nik or LA7. The spit turns mediocre pilots into killers....in a furball...not just BnZ like the Nik and LA. Its ability to reverse is my biggest beef with it. Its such a monster...it can slow down, cause bad overshoots and then it has so much horsepower that it can recover instantly. It doesn’t really turn that well actually, but it doesn’t have to....you can reverse so much in it, the average person will not even be able to keep track of you. Its like a Zeke minus the turning ability, but with a ton more horsepower.
I have only flown that plane in furballs, and have a 3 to 1 K/D. Now, my SA is terrible, and there’s no way I could fly any other plane as carelessly as I fly the Spit16, and still maintain that ratio.
Should it be perked? I dont know...maybe a little. The silly thing is some of the planes that are perked are not nearly as good and are totally outclassed by the 16. The Spit14 and TA152 come to mind. The CHog should be unperked as well. Either that, or the 16 should be perked and made more expensive than those 3 planes.
