Surely you can't be this starved for attention.

uhmmmmm... I'm all confused here. (granted me and the boy are into the Grolsch, and maybe a couple of Glen Fiddichs too).

Didn't this thread start out as a clip of a crappy Helo driving episode?

How did we get here now?

Isn't this more worthy of the O'club?

Or, even with the O'club, are we due for another "experiment"?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Last but not least....Morph can you shoot me an email? have some movie making things to ask you. My PM works here, as does the email in my cp.

cheers all, play nice.

Haven't played in a while..  think I logged in once back in September, flew one sortie in a Hurricane then logged out.  Kept paying till November though, just cause I forgot to cancel the sub again.

Still in school (go super super seniors!  lol), taking my last final tomorrow.  After that I may resubscribe for a month or so, but my stick was spiking pretty bad last time I tried.

Ok a scenario..

As I'm sure all you hotshot pilots know that any aircraft above, say 5000 ft ASL on a day 32 deg C, cannot take off from that runway, ...any plane.

So say this dude is at an alt that he's near limits, but it's cloudy and 10 degrees cooler. The ol boy wastes too much time, the sun comes out, changes the temperature and due to his standing alt, the pilot knows he's in trouble.

But he's doin this for a favour for an old friend , who's dad turned 100. The pilot knows he's already in watermelon for landin in an un authorized area, and now the flight conditions have made it worse. He stays down , loses his job for illegal use of the chopper, or tries to cut his losses and beat it.

Voila, accident. No surprise. Next to underestimating weather conditions, the most prominant reason for aviation accidents is peer pressure.....nothin new...nothin stupid...just a series of conditions proving once again human falicies.
I used to be a fatalist,
but that part of me died.
