Speaking of sun and weather effects:

We had a Run-90 hanging out way above one of the fields today refusing to come down and fight (he tried diving on me once, but soon as he saw I was heading towards him he aborted 1k out and climbed back up).

All the sudden for no apparent reason he burst into flames.

I think Icarus up there flew too close to the sun and the heat lit him on fire. :D

Add my "Aye!" (pictures alt-monkey dweebs getting zapped by lightning. "Zeus shot you down!" lol!)

I know they prob (never know) will not bring back full on night time, but some cloudy overcast low visability fights would be nice.

The 12:00 O'clock bright sun in the eyes gets real old after a while.

Dusk and dawn would be a nice addition also IMO, add some fog or low clouds, bomber crews might have trouble seeing targets. Might add a little spin on things for flavor and realism.

My 2 cents

I'd love to have more clouds added for a challenge to buff pilots.  What few clouds I've flown through and over on top of my target were inconvenient for me, but it made me rethink my strategy.

Mild, variable weather, affecting only relatively small areas(say 1/2 sector or less for severe storms) I could take. Anything that prohibits flight ops, or causes large numbers of prospective targets to log off or sulk in the tower is a bad thing.

Increase mid-day glaring sun.
