H2H is like a training arena, where you can get shot down.

why don't you and those 8+ buddies who want a free MMPOG environment chip in and get an account.  then you can take turns using it.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

The TA is free of charge.
The trainers who help you give their time for virtually nothing.

Arena access costs 15$ a month. Thats all arena's all the time, and its a bargain.

Its bad enough in the TA with lots of 2 week wonders who don't plan on staying and have nothing to lose. Add a bunch more guys who don't pay to play and you'd have chaos.

50 cents a day, thats 1 soda, a candy bar a day. Thats less than a meal at McDonalds 3 times a month.  2 to 3 hours of work would make you enough to be able to play online. Thats really not that much to ask.

i suggested this a while ago, that it would help noobs get a little more time before they decided, but i think its good as it is. we already have all kinds of tards in there at the moment. guys who shout out with caps lock on, JOIN MY SQUAD NOW!!! rofl, and all the guys with numbers for names too lol.

it just wouldn't work right, and would lose HT money.

this is by far the cheapest form of entertainment available. furthermore you will make friends who do not borrow money, come by and drink your beer or ask to borrow your truck.  I agree with Ghosth.

i once suggested that Friday Night Squad Ops should carry a charge of $2.95 for someone that only wants to participate in FSO. This meaning no MA, TA, or anything other then 10 hours spread over 3 fridays a month.

lol guys, its 15 bucks! A good bottle of booz costs 3-4 times more than the single monthly payment to HTC for unlimited entertainment.

Tightwads. :)

On a related note there was a guy in the MA last night, named 7names. He calls himself this because he's on his 7th name of exploiting the free 2 week trial. He said he already has his 8th name ready to go when his current trial expires and plans on playing forever without paying.

I understand the marketing concept behind the 2 week trial, especially for a game like AH with such a steep learning curve but...There has to be some way to prevent dead-beat leaches from sucking up bandwidth indefinately while not contributing financially to the development of the product. It's not as though this guy can't afford it, he's paying $55/month for other online games, he just isn't going to pay for Aces High while there is this way to circumvent doing so. He was quite proud of himself for being so 'smart' for getting away with playing for free while the rest of us 'suckers' pay to play...It made me want to puke...
