LOL are you kidding me?

here is an example of why it's a detriment to the game.

the nme feild was capped...a 110 had just gotten his wheels off the runway and he dissapeared. hmmm...firehwk...guess we'll never know....hmmm. i'm rtb and i see a 110 just outside the cap...hmmm...same 110? i get on his six...he flies into the ground...the good kind...no explosion.

i'm low on fuel so i throttle back....i get a check six...a 110! i throttle up to get him off of me come around on him but someone pops him...and who pray tell is the 110?  Firehwk! i knew i would have made it back to base untill i had to use that fuel and of course i came just short of the runway.

now it could have been any con that forced me throttle up but i knew there were none otw back to base. so i lost my kills because of one player who doesn't like an even playing feild.

once the 110 first reappeared i started recording and sure enough it was our good friend firehwk.

afterwards a squadie and i decided to try the the standby button on our modems and sure enough....i hit the button...flew behind him and took it off standby and i warped on his six. he tried it and he warped on my six.

i had gotten switched from udp to tcp and thats when i took it off standby so there might be a time limit you can do it...not sure.

so it looks like it's up to the individual if he wants to play by the rules or not.

i think i'll run my connection through a dimmer switch....lol.

Perhaps not the wisest thing to broadcast?

It’s quite obvious that the actions of a few individuals (namely one) have been the rumor de jour around the MA lately. I would love to give them the benefit of the doubt but after viewing several films and being both witness and victim to their stunts, their actions are too convenient and quite deliberate, far from a mere bad connection where one warps randomly. The key word here in resolving the issue is ACCOUNTABLILTY which I am trusting HTC will implement perhaps by instituting some type of policy thus setting precedent before we have a small epidemic that has plagued other online multi-player games. To my understanding Unreal Tournament suffers from the same problem. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm - Wonder if it's the same geniuses.
