Exactly. Increasing of inner deadband.
I have not touch the outer.

Deadband dont increase only the dead space it also affect the speed and
smoothnes of the joystick.

I have a CH F16 in a box in my attic I some times get it out just to prove to my self how awful it feels when pulling on both and x & y axis simultaneously............... there is a definate notch...............

I must also say that since i reset the X52 stick registry and put my sliders to max the whole thing has seen an amazing upgrade in fidelity.

i luv my x52, it is alot touchier than my old joystick, but with time u will get used to it, all i can say nimble is don't give up, u will like it after u get used to it. i only mapped out my joystick on the game itself, i don't mess with the profiler thingy. just ask around the game, there are alot of ppl that have this joystick, maybe they have a profile that u can use.
