Are you implying that since I don't put in the hours to earn 1000's of perks I am not qualified to fly a 262? Somehow I think my 19 years flying these games would rule out pilot error, eh?

well after 19 years if you cant take a nmy 40 or higher plane and in an hour or 2 farm enough points for a 262 from a furball maybe

Enable them when a country is getting ganged, and charge 500perks for each of them. to at least get the country getting it up the rear a fighting chance. Or charge 700 perks hell even add the B-29 as a super perk bomber, but no Nuke.

Chill with the silly requests for non WWII era planes!  THis must be the 4th or 5th thread you've suggested this in.  We like Korean-war jet fighters as much as you, but they have no place in a WWII Flight Sim my man!

works for me :D

Actually, the perks earned either way would have exactly the same meaning. It is how they are used which would change.

I am crushed.  You guys have ruined my year.  Already.  All this time I thought that "perk points" were like coupons I could use towards the wife having a boob job this year.  I almost had enough perkies for the downpayment.  NOW what will I do?  :cry

Your assumption was that anyone without 1000's of perks didn't have the skill to deserve them in the first place. And that's as wrong an assumption as that everyone has the 1000's of perks at all.

FWIW, I have no interest in flying a 262 or 163 ... "Jet Nite" in WB was such a horrific warp-fest that I am forever scarred from the experience. I also never re-arm my plane, I always just land and exit ... perks have no real impact on me in particular. And I suspect amongst that holds true for a lot of veteran players who fly only a few times a month.

what I am saying is if you cant earn the 200 perks for a 262 easy you should not be flying one cause your just going to break it.

LMAO This thread cracks me up....

I get bent outta shape losing 8 tigers one night and have to drive M3's all over Manmade hell to get my perks back up.....

And someone wants to willingly throw theirs away?

I can understand with Bomber perks... They are pretty useless as the game is now. But 262 or 163 raids on a squadnite are a blast...

But then its back to the freebirds for me...

I like my non perked birds but Its fun to have a perk waste night and fly temptests or Chogs.

All hail the perk!:rofl

I watched Ghi attack GVs with 163s for about an hour one night. While not exactly a task to which bottlerockets are well suited, it was fairly entertaining.

As an aside, has anyone else noticed that Ghi sounds just like Count Chocula when he's been drinking? ;)
