It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

LoL US laws and court system never ceases to amaze me.

That ranks up with the guy that had a fire insurance for his cigars. After smoking them, he collected the money via court (the Insurance company didnt want to pay for *obvious* reasons, but lost), only to be sued by the Insurance company for arson.

Because coffee should give someone 3rd degree burns.

Coffee is not intended to be used in the groin of a customer either, so I suppose McD's is responsible for screening customers to insure they are smarter than a freaking cup of coffee.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

How are you supposed to drink it without touching it?

If you like coffee that is hot enough to cause a need for surgical intervention should you spill it on yourself or somebody else, your seed should be wiped from the earth.

I've seen people die in burn units because they were trying to poor a cup of coffee that was stupidly hot.

Type these words into a search engine "burn bsa mortality rate".

Yeah she spilled a cup of coffee! I don't think I've ever heard of anybody doing something that stupid evar! If she had died in the hospital she surely would of won the darwin award. I don't even understand how a person who could be so stupid as to spill a cup of coffee could progress to a point in life where she could own an auto. Pretty sad commentary about our society when someone stupid enough to actually spill a cup of something can get a drivers license.

Spilling a cup of coffee.. now I've heard it all.

the McD's coffee issue was based on the coffee being at 210 degrees F.  that is mighty close to boiling.  there was no need for coffee to be that hot.  The plaintiff in that lawsuit suffered third degree burns to her outer labia.  I don't believe that was a frivolous lawsuit.

Again, noone forced him to go back into the chat room.  Just a heads up, I've read the link properly.
