It's worth noting that nearly 2.7 million people -- about 200,000 above last year's average -- tuned in to watch "The O'Reilly Factor" the night after he went toe-to-toe with Letterman, according to Nielsen Media Research. O'Reilly's younger viewership was up 20 percent over his December numbers.

Just because you don't understand Dave's comedy doesn't mean it's for the thinking man.

Agreed.

I dont know why but
This reminds me of my Brother in law who called looking for my wife the other night and finding she wasnt home asked if my son had regestered for the draft yet.
Then he remembered he wouldnt be 18 till june.
so he says his son just turned 18 and had to register and reminded my that so would my son.
I was like. "yea I know"

His next line was classic idiot

"Yep thats our president for ya"

So I reminded him that its been that way for quite some time now and said
"I had to do it and so did you, or you were supposed to"

So he says "No I couldnt register I'm a convicted criminal"

I just couldnt resist.
"Well then I guess that there life of crime really paid off for you then huh"

No he's right. Daves comedy is for the thinking man.

That is. if the thinking man in question has an IQ of about 10;)

LOL the man is a piece of..garbage (expletive omitted). Always has been.
I've more respect for a bum living in a cardboard box then I ever have for that man and he knows it.
He insists on talking his nonsensical garbage to me as though he has a valid point to make.
Problem is he never has the right facts to back him up.
Yet time after time at gathering after gathering and on the rare occasion I speak with him on the phone. He insists on making idiotic statements such as the one I just talked about.
And time after time I prove him not only wrong but stupidly wrong.

His only defense against this is to not let anyone finish their rebuttal and change the subject to something just as idiotic at which point the cycle starts all over again.

I know what part of his answer would be. And that is Yes. As to why? I dont know. I will make a point of asking him though.

With him LITERALLY everything wrong in the world  is either Bush's fault or his parents fault. Regardless of what the facts are.

I dont mind starting a family argument with this clown.
This is one baby seal I take great pleasure in clubbing every opportunity he gives me. Which usually almost just about every time I see him:)

I iliked alot of the older stars of today at one time. But slowly they change and take their own opinions on things too seriously. They think of themselves as kings under glass.

Reguardless the subject, you are at the mercy of the author and subject to the authors views and opinions rather then being able to form your own.

I've seen the OReilly show and seen him in interviews on other shows and I'd say that about 50% of what he says is indeed crap.
And I think the man is by and large an ass

I''ve also seen letterman on his show as well as in interviews on other shows and I'd say he also is full of crap about 50% of the time and is also by and large an ass.

But I am able to base my opinion on personal observations and not second hand through someone elses writings.

Finally, a crap expert to settle this thing.

'cause it hurts so good.
