I just looked at the weather reports...they say its gonna rain today there.  RAIN?  In Quebec?  In January????

I sure hope the US signs that treaty thingy....and soon.  It is getting in the way of my ski holidays.

You think MiniD was mean when you got your Scooter stolen, just wait for the water from the melted icecaps to steel your whole house!

MiniD wasn't "mean", he was just being an arrogant and preaching "richard".  Such is his nature.

Besides most of Florida, Mississipi, Alabama and all of Louisiana will go before my house.:p

I heard that enough sacrificial chicken pot pies will appease the snow gods.

But remove the peas first.  They hate that.

Good Luck!  :p

Noted re: the peas...but it will be tough to get the peas out of the frozen Swanson Pot Pie my wife picked up yesterday for this purpose without breaking the crust.  Are they okay with fractured crusts?

Are you trying to offend the snow gods, Curv??

SWANSON FROZEN....(I can't even type the words Chicken Pot Pie next to that  )

If you wish to avoid locust, utter chaos, and total calamity on your Frenchie Ski Trip, you will run, not walk, to return that abomination to the store shelf and build a Chicken Pot Pie from scratch, and show it the respect and reverence it deserves!!

The faint of the Quebec is in your hands! :noid

Alright String cut it out...you are putting voodoo mojo on my ski trip.  I don't have time to make it from scratch.  If I break my leg I'm gonna come to Kansas City...and ...umm...yell stuff at you...then we'll go for ribs (with Toad and Rude of course).

;)

All the best with this trip! Don't break any bones...

I'm taking a break myself next week - heading down to the Canary Islands to escape the big freeze that's on its way. It will be nice and warm down there - mid 20s C. I don't like that cold stuff!

Still, it's great that we can do these trips whenever we feel like it - because we can! Feels good to live in the free world. :D (Lazs calls us "The Money Guys" - LOL)

FREEDOM!!!!!  :)

lol@the "money guys" comment...he claims I have a trophy wife and that she married me for money.  This ski trip is actually a Christmas gift from her.  She has her own money having sold the house she had in Toronto...but she still owns a condo up there.

I just have to get through today and I'm off.  I fly to Toronto tomorrow, overnight at my buddy's place and then we drive to Quebec on Sunday.

Life is good.:aok

Curval, do you know any information about the U.S. tax system, specifically AMT? If so, I need to ask you some questions...I can email you if you know something about the AMT...
