I used aux accounts for years because if I flew as me I'd get inundated with messages about "When's the next scenario, DoK?" Which I don't mind answering, but my "play" time quickly became work under those conditions. I'd be online for an hour and realize I'd done nothing but orbit while I fielded questions.

In AW many used aux accounts because the scoring system promoted so much defensive play and at that time there was no way to reset your score. So I kept one account "for the record" and had spares for doing stoopidly things with.

Aux accounts are also a nice way to tour other countries without "burning bridges."

So there are legitimate occasions where aux accounts make sense. Using aux accounts to spy on enemy missions seems kind of lame given the success rate of most base captures.

My squad has noticed some patterns.    Too bad you can simply create a new two weeker and keep the scam alive.

Although I respect and understand your concerns, the thread was started as a funny look at the shades peeps.  You get out of a good fight with someone and get message, System:you have been shot down by dopy or you have been shot down by coldkill.  All the time you know its a decent stick and your thinking to see "you have been shot down by ManeTMP or Stang or YUCCA or Levaithn.........etc.  The time I met Godlike1 in a spit the guy did a manuver and immediately I knew of only maybe three people who can do that or do.  So immediately you start PM'ing them to see who they really are.   Then the curiosity kicks in and your like, "Who in the hell is that?"  Just funny!  :aok  In lother words there are two types of shades accounts:  1) the guy is up to no good and trying to cheat or something   2) Somebody is trolling or trying to escape how everyone sees them.
Think if JohnnyRA, WindX, Chi, or me for that matter went around in shades accounts.  Would people be able to tell by their flying styles or just their experience level?  It would probably be easier with the top 10 sticks to tell because the arena knows their styles usually.  (Ramble)  
Just funny to see eventually who it was in that shades account that pawned you! :D
