How would you handle the problems inherent in formulating a coherent Unified Field Theory?   And how much should Quantum Mechanics be paid?

hang... I think Orourke said that the trick isn't figuring out how  government  works... it's figuring out how to make it stop.

Low level no political employees would get paid just as the private sector or at their state level.  Elected politicals would get no pay except expenses.

most government positions would simply be eliminated in my admin... along with their staff's.  Most agencies would be eliminated along with all their employees..  that would include the ATF.
