Varience in Delay

I really don't know how to interpret varience in delay. Sometimes I have a solid red line and at other times a solid white line. Sometimes I have a solid red line with bits of white line showing through.

If someone could educate me on how to interpret this feature, I'd be greatful.

Its telling you something is eating CPU cycles,... if you are on a Pent notebook, disable the CPU power saving, otherwise be sure to close all un needed applications (live viri scanner) and processes, you should have 23 or so processes for an XP install.

The difference between red and white is, the red is the 0 line (always flat), the white line shows the actual variance values. As long as its more or less flatline (red or white) youre golden.

When you start getting spikes/sawtooth patterns, something is messing up your connection.
