I have been playing this game for two years now but for the past 4 months the inbalance in the sides has made it very frustrating.  Yes i am a Knight, as if from my post topic you could not tell!!!

For more then 16 hours of the day the knights are heavely out numbered, most of the time by ratios like the following and alot of times alot worse:

Knights 40 players
Rooks 60 players
Bishops 60 players

And to make it worse the way the gameplay evolves it only makes sense that the Rooks and bish would concentrate on the weaker numbers of the Knights so it makes the pblm alot worse.

If the ENY would kick in alot sooner and alot harder then this would act as a motivational tool to try and keep the sides even because the people on the sides with the high numbers would get tired of flying the crappy planes.

The other morning about two weeks ago for a period of 4 hours the ratio's were as follows:

Knights 13 players
Rooks 38 players
Bish 32 players

Oh yeah that was alot of fun!!!!!!

Scuzzy and HiTech please consider putting something into the game to motivate people to balance the sides.  I know if the situation does not change soon I will be giving up the game.

PS:  And no i will not take the easy answer and just switch sides to the rook or bish because i would not do that to my Loyal knight team mates.

And on that note all you knights (and you know who you are) who switch to the rooks and bish when we are heavely outnumbered because you want to keep your Ranks high; I which a wild bore with rabies tracks you down and eats your heart out you scumb bag traders!!!!

This must be a troll, because you just answered your own request with an explanation for why the numbers rarely change.

Until one of the chess pieces offers health care plans, I wouldn't worry too much about 'loyalty'.

You ask for this ...

Scuzzy and HiTech please consider putting something into the game to motivate people to balance the sides.

Yet you say this ...

And know i will not take the easy answer and just switch sides to the rook or bish because i would not do that to my Loyal knight team mates.

So ... if and when the roles are reversed (Knights are on the side that outnumbers another country) ... are you motivated to switch and balance the sides or does your "loyalty" prevent you from doing that ?

If you DON'T switch sides when the Knights outnumber the other countries (and it does happen), then how can you come on here and piss and moan to HTC to force a balance ... when you will not switch because of your "loyalty", but it's OK for others.

No, I did not post this to start a troll thread. If HiTech would make the ENY kick in sooner and more severely i truely believe the side inbalance problem would go away quickly.  Even though there are probably 80% of the players on each team that are loyal to there sides, there is also 20% of the players that don't really care about teams and it would be these 20% that would make the sides balance out if the ENY system kicked in sooner and harder!!!

By the way my in game ID is rich1960 if you were curious, I am not the best player around but i struggle to keep my monthly ranking in the top 10-15%.

zOMG this has to be a troll.

So you want ENY to kick in so that people will switch to your team when you refuse to ever switch to theirs?  Let me ask you something:  If you are being a token patriotic knight when the knights have numbers and the ENY is crippling you, would you switch teams?  From this it doesn't sound like it.

If you do, I'd be watching out for boars with rabies, I hear they are bad this time of year.

Ahhh ... it becomes clearer now  ... this imbalance problem is wreaking havoc on your rank then ... BUWHAHAHAHAHA.

ENY was tweaked for quite some time and for all itents and purposes ... it is working just fine. Your whine is the first in a long time and now we all know why your whining ... rank ... you won't get much sympathy here I don't think.

I just mentioned my rank so you would know i was not a newbie complaiining.  If i cared about rank i would not up from my enemy capped base only to get voulched on the runway 10 times in a row trying to save the base.

Like i already said, there are 20% of players on each side that have no loyalty, it is these 20% that would balance the sides!!!!!

Hmmmmm, would not the people that change countries due to the ENY also be traders?

Any of them trade at the CBOT by any chance?  I may know them and could have a talk with them about your request.

Yes people who switch sides from the weaker numbered side just to keep their rank high are traders!!!

People who switch from the sides with the stronger numbers to be able to pilot the better planes are just smart!!!! If you take the game as a serious Team game and have loalty I would not expect you to switch sides.  But there are at least 20% on each side that don't care about Team Tatics, these are the guys that just want to furball and not capture bases.  It is those players that would balance the sides out!!!!

The idea being that with perfectly balanced sides the "war" would "stalemate" and no one would "win the war"?

That is TOO funny, considering all the emphasis on "winning the war".

"LET'S DEVISE AN ARTIFICIAL MECHANISM TO STALEMATE THE GAMEPLAY!"

:rofl

Back to the 'ball for me, thanks.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

I think you missed all the threads about how furballers dont help. :rofl

So, in other words, you want others to change but you would not because you are teh loyal?

Heading down tot he floor now to talk to your traders (and look for the trolls).  I'll let you know what they said :D

I hate to tell ya this Richard, but you won't get any sympathy here.
As a fellow Knight I hear what your saying.
I simply up at a base 1 sector back and climb to 20k so I can shoot down the buffs :aok
