and second, and this is funny. the spit16 IS tuned down! normally it had 21lbs of boost, and at 150 octane fuel, which it DID use it worked at 25lbs of boost. it doesnt need to be tuned down, it needs to be tuned up and given the proper canopy. then all you guys will have something to whine about. and if people keep crying about it, and it does get perked, i would certainly expect HT to put it back to its proper uberness


Well, whether the 16 is overmodeled or not, u can't say it's not a better plane than most. It's not the fastest (yeah, the 262/163 is) it's not the most maneuverable (yeah, the zeke is) but it's better than other planes.

You can't say it's a bad plane, it's an awesome plane, which is why ppl call it dweeby. Now, dweeby is usually an insulting term for 'unfair' which in almost all cases, it is, since the spit16 does give the pilot a natural advantage over the adversary in the worse plane.

Same goes for any other plane that's better than the other; killing a p40 in an la is 'dweeby', taking out a 109E in a 163 is dweeby, this isn't only limited to the spit 16, it's just more common in the spit 16 since, the 16 is better than most planes.... you said it yourself, british engineering ;)

LOL spit16 is fast LOL, it barely breaks into the top 25 in fastest planes.
OTD where most fights are, its THE slowest  315 OTD   330ish @ 5k.

the only things that make the 16 good is its climb, and E holding.  if your dieing alot to the spit16, you need to STOP fighting its fight.
