Ya'll should be aware I design and build bicycles for a living. In my 5 years in the industry I have lost several aquaintances to vehicular manslaughter. What is it about a bike on the road that gets people in cars so freaking riled? You all do realise they have just as much a legal right to be there as you? You do not have some authority from on high to force them off the road or intimidate or threaten them with a 2-3 ton chunk of metal. If a cyclist wants to ride in the middle of the lane on a public road at 10 miles an hour, that's his legal right. If he's a dick, that's his right too. Idiot cyclists piss me off all the time, but I NEVER let it become personal. Just wait for an oportune moment, usually less than 30 seconds, and pass wide around them.
