Just getting a kill streak going isn't hard. I can think of a few people with very good K/D's, but they only kill one or two planes an hour. Not hard to not die only swooping a buff or afk plane from 20k once an hour. Then there's people with good K/T's that only vulch, again, not hard to kill rather quickly when the enemy planes are completely defenseless on the ground. Killing alot quickly without dying, and especially without vulching, is quite the trick in the MA, that requires some serious skills.

My goal in AW used to be an entire camp without dying in a fighter, with 5 kills per sortie average. In AH my goal is 50 to 1 K/D, killing 10 an hour, with a 25% hit %. I never reached my goal in AW my best ever was 543 kills to 3 deaths and 4.3 kills/sortie. I'll likely never reach my AH goal either, but it's neverending fun to try. One thing I learned over the years is...Killing alone is very easy after you've mastered the basic skills, killing and getting away with it is alot harder and alot more fun.

It's great fighter work, period.

Anyone denigrating it, try it.  I'd settle for 50 kills, no deaths, and a kill rate of 11 per hour.  If you can do it, you can say it's not an accomplishment.

Otherwise, albeit grudgingly for some, give the man his due.

I'm no ankle humper.

Is giving credit where credit is due such a bad thing?

geuss this makes me a 'fanboi' :D

I am simply praising something that impresses me, despite not being how/why i play aces high.
I grow so tierd of you griefers, yet still i will respond, it gives you so much satisfaction from such a simple thing, who am I to deprive you of that pleasure.

saddest part is, some of you run around in packs covering each others tails here on the forums, and condem the same sport in the game. i would venture that this makes you just as bad here on these BBs as anyone can be in game. you come in high alt, make a BnZ attack, extend, and wait for you wingmen to have a go too.

:rofl

I'd settle for at least being in the positive on k/d.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Well congrats to Shawk, good run man.

Bat, you have to admit your second or third post in this thread (the long one with the neon green at the top) has quite a hint of ankle humpage in it.  I think we all know what you are trying to say when you say this...

But I hope he has long socks on =)

What Waffle so surprisingly forgets to mention here is that he was upping buffs in FT. I was in on Ord to prevent such gamey bastages from upping.
So instead I dropped my bomb on his buffs and then proceeded to take all the ord down with guns on the rest of the passes.

But to no avail, later filmed a mission (Waffles) which then still took the FT base. WTG waffle!:aok
