The U.S. attempts to overthrow a DEMOCRATICLY elected official?  The US tried to keep the rich elite in power.... Imagine that.

I know goverment agents that were going down there around 2002-2003.  That alone says alot to me, despite not knowing the 'offical' reason for their travels.

On Rice:
Quote
"She's calling foreign ministers, she's called Spain, she has called Brazil, good friends of ours, and Austria, to warn them about Venezuela, to form a block against Venezuela," Chavez told reporters outside Miraflores Presidential Palace.

"What could be more aggressive? All we can do is resist this imperialist abuse and defeat it," he said.

If the U.S. even thinks about pursueing a war or a coup over a DEMOCRATICLY elected socialist govement ...well then it has truely become a goverment by the corporation for the corporation.

And if you wonder why he shows solidarity with carribean nations- maybe you should look at what people like Bill Clinton and orginizations like the WTO & World Bank have done to Jamaica.  Hint: look under subsidies and 'do as I say, not as I do'.

Buy gas at Citgo -   ... Or I guess you could get it from the house of Saud.

He's not alone.  My memory is failing me right now but wasnt the guy running for President in Columbia a few months back running on an anti-US agenda?

Did they drive F-16's for the CIA or were they snipers?

No actually .. he didn't talk about what he was doing down there.  He was talking more about agency database integration in that conversation.   No tales of scorpion stings ethier......

I just think the timeing was odd. It's something I noticed in my experiances, as  oppsed to another link to an article.   What it implies is up to you.
