Bill Clinton registers for the draft
« on: February 24, 2006, 09:43:18 AM »
Got this email... just passing it on......

"Bill Clinton registers for the draft on September 08, 1964,

accepting all contractual conditions of registering for the draft.

       Selective Service Number 326 46 228.

Bill Clinton classified 2-S on November 17, 1964.

Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on March 20, 1968.

Bill Clinton ordered to report for induction on July 28,  1969.

Bill Clinton refuses to report and is not inducted into the

 military.

Bill Clinton reclassified 1-D after enlisting in the United States

Army Reserves on August 07, 1969, under authority of Col. E. Holmes.

Clinton signs enlistment papers and takes oath of enlistment.

Bill Clinton fails to report to his duty station at the University

 of Arkansas ROTC, September 1969.

Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on October 30, 1969, as enlistment

with Army Reserves is revoked by Colonel E. Holmes and Clinton now

AWOL and subject to arrest under Public Law 90-40 (2)(a) registrant

who has failed to report...remain liable for induction.'

Bill Clinton's birth date lottery number is 311, drawn December 1,

1969, but anyone who has already been ordered to report  for

 induction is INELIGIBLE!

Bill Clinton runs for Congress (1974), while a fugitive from

 justice under Public Law 90-40.

Bill Clinton runs for Arkansas Attorney General (1976), while a

 fugitive from justice.

Bill Clinton receives pardon on January 21,1977, from President

 Carter.

Bill Clinton FIRST PARDONED FEDERAL FELON ever to serve as

 President of the United States.

All these facts come from Freedom of Information requests, public

laws, and various books that have been published, and have not been

 refuted by Clinton.

After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, President Clinton

promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S.

military personnel; Clinton promised t hat those responsible would

 be hunted down and punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which

killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that

those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed

224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be

 hunted down and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and

injured 39 U.S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be

 hunted down and punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept those promises, an estimated  3,000

people in New York and Washington, DC that are  now dead would be

 alive today.

       AN INTERESTING QUESTION:

This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show.  Without

casting stones, it is a legitimate question.

There are two men, both extremely wealthy. One develops

relatively cheap software and gives billions of dollars to charity.

The other sponsors terrorism. That being the case, why was it

that the Clinton Administration spent more money chasing down Bill Gates

over the eight years in office, than Osama bin Laden?

       THINK ABOUT IT!

It is a strange turn of events.  Hillary gets $8 Million for her

forth coming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet

to be written. This from two people who spent 8 years being unable

to Recall anything about past events while under oath.

       Sincerely,

       Cdr. Hamilton McWhorter USN  (ret)"

That Bill Clinton went to great lengths to avoid the Vietnam-era draft, that he used political connections to obtain special favors, and that he made promises and commitments which he later failed to honor, are all beyond dispute. However, the timeline quoted above jumps the tracks when it labels Clinton a "felon," because none of his actions, no matter how unethical or morally reprehensible, were illegal. When Clinton agreed in July of 1969 to enter the advanced ROTC program at the University of Arkansas, his draft board rescinded his induction notice and reclassified him with a reservist's deferment. That he later changed his mind in October 1969 and opted to forego the ROTC program and be reclassified 1-A did not constitute a "failure to report" or make him "AWOL," because he was not due to begin ROTC training until the summer of 1970, and he had the ROTC director's permission to return to England in the meanwhile. At the time of his 1-A re-classification in October 1969 the previous induction notice was no longer in effect, and he was not subsequently re-drafted.

It's not like he actually enlisted then blew off the reserves and disobeyed direct orders to work on a political campaign while he was drunk and on a coke binge.;)

GOLD STAR MOTHERS

Cdr. Hamilton McWhorter USN
Submitted by Brenda Wise
August 6, 2003

If this won't honk you off nothing will... You really should be sitting down when you read this one...

Gold Star Mothers is an organization made up of women whose sons were killed in military combat during service in the United States armed forces.

Recently a delegation of New York State Gold Star Mothers made a trip to Washington, DC, to discuss various concerns with their elected representatives.

According to published reports, there was only one politician who refused to meet with these ladies.

Can you guess which politician that might be?

Was it New York Senator Charles Schumer? Nope, he met with them.

Try again.

Do you know anyone serving in the Senate who has never showed anything but contempt for our military?

Do you happen to know the name of any politician in Washington who's husband once wrote of his loathing for the military? Now you're getting warm! You got it!

None other than the Queen herself, Hillary Rotten Clinton. She refused repeated requests to meet with the Gold Star Mothers.

Now, please don't tell me you're surprised. This woman wants to be President of the United States --- and there is a huge percentage of Voters who are eager to help her achieve that goal.

May you sleep in peace always...and please...hug or thank a Veteran for that privilege.

And think about this one !!!

Don't forget, our girl, Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York Senator, now comes under this fancy congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan. It's common knowledge that, in order for her to establish NYS residency, they purchased a million+ dollar house in upscale Chappaqua, NY.

Makes sense.

Now, they are entitled to Secret Service protection for life.

Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting. The mortgage payments hover at about $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residency had to be built within the acreage in order to house the Secret Service agents.

The Clinton's now charge the Secret Service $10,000 monthly rent for the use of said Secret Service residence and that rent is just about equal to their mortgage payment, ........meaning that we, the tax payers, are paying the Clinton's mortgage, their transportation, their safety and security, their 12 man staff, and it's all perfectly legal.

Sincerely,

Cdr. Hamilton McWhorter USN (ret)

PS: Please forward this to as many people as you can. We don't want this woman to even think of running for President.

So, just how many people can you send this to? It will take no more than 2 minutes.

Thanks
Dat jugs bro.

Origins:   This item began as a 26 May 2001 "Hillary Snubs Gold Star Mothers" article on NewsMax.com.

As explained on our Landlord of Misrule page, this rumor is also hogwash. While it is a standard arrangement that the Secret Service provide payment to homeowners for space used by the agency in such situations, the amount provided is based on a government formula, not a charge set by the homeowner. (In the Clintons' case, this amount is $1,100.) Unlike other previous First Families, the Clintons have not accepted any money from the Secret Service, making this rumor not only baseless but particularly mean-spirited in that it chides the Clintons for something that they're not doing while directing no criticism at those who are.

Historically great presidents have been those who served in office during pivotal times in the nations history.

Washington, Jefferson, and TRoosevelt served in times when the nation was being born expanding or coming of age as a world power. Lincoln is revered for holding the nation together, FRoosevelt served during economic and wartime hardships. Kennedy served during a stare down with Kruschev.

It would seem that Clinton is a victim of the times in which he served, as probably his greatest claim to fame is economic good times.  Coolidge also served under economic good times, but he is not generally considered among the greats.

Yep ... makes me roll my eyes when I see such "letters", always supposely signed by someone of trust, such as "a high ranked official".

How the average citizen keeps lusting on those, and foward them to each other, is an insult to Middle America's average IQ.:( How such letters keep poping up on this board, brings up confusion. Is it a troll, or the poster is really that galuable?

Just because he was the best in recent history doesn't mean he was great.....  He did alot of bad things too.   He just happens to be great when compared to Bushes and Regan.   I'd say Carter was great before Clinton.  Clinton still did alot of bad, like helping to force Jamacia to accept 'fair' trade.....'Fair' in the sense that US subsidied goods be allowed in while Jamacian's are required to subsidize nothing.

This letter however, doesn't bother me in the least.   Clinton never tried to 'swift boat' anyone.  Bush is such a wanna-be.  A wanna-be Texan, a wanna-be war hero, and wanna-be president.
