RTR, sorry to bust your bubble, but ive met wldmn in a Hmk1 "showdown"..... he whips my butt thouroughly and easily

Poof:.... thats the whole point..... how do you suggest "flying smart" in a HMk1? Keep your alt and speed? only engage single targets (running/extending if they are smart)? Fly with lots of greens about and rack up assists?
As i said... getting a kill or 3 is not the issue (much).... RTB is. I RTB about 10% of my HMk1 sorties... if at all.

Im serious: try it. In MA.

That not a challenge!! land 2 kills in every forward gun plane in the hanger thats a challenge. I did it in everything but the bn5 i just couldnt kill anything in that beast. O and the p40b is the worst fighter we have.

Come on now. The only reason that plane can kill anything is MA sircumstances and pilot skill. There is no way that plane could RTB in the MA. I bet you it could not be done (at will) in a IIC, in the MA. Only reason it happens in the MA sometimes is lots of skill combined with lots of luck and advantage.

That would not mean match Poo. Some skill but a lot more luck and fighting with advantage would be required. It is possible in the MA but under certen conditions.

What would happen if you met a KI84 while you are trying to RTB, and there were no friendlies around? Do you really think that plane can fight him off? Nothing to do with your skill there. Your plane will eventually kill you.

equal pilots, ki will eventually win. however, if he aint nothing special, like the majority of MA pilots, drag him down to the dack and turn circles around him lol
