Poo - All seriousness - I'll give you at least 3 Sorties.

it isnt that hard. the only thing limiting it is it's guns, which are still like lazers if you get in close. now RTB'ing, as schatzi said, will be harder, so all you need to do is keep e, play it smart and safe, and rearm every few kills. it wont be that hard to do

My Bad - By sortie I meant Re-arm. Impossible to do without re-arming. I give you at least 3 re-arms. You gonna be trying your azzzzz off too now ain't ya?

Hmmmmmmmmm - Might have to put a bounty out for any Hurricane Mk1s - Kill em all - hehe. I can see it now in the Mission Editor - MissionTitle: Operation Stop Pooface / Details: Global Fighter Sweep - Kill all Hurricane MK1s.

i only die when i get stupid and stop thinking. same for everyone i think. as long as you fly smart, fly with a wingman, check your 6 a lot, you should be ok in the MA if you have an ounce of skill. it's when you get greedy and target fixated that you die

im sure you can identify with that

quite true. but isnt that why it's a challenge? why would i fly a hurri 1 unless i wanted it to be hard?

I don't know about your confidence level, but Ki84 climbs good and that is about it.

Personally, the ONLY way yer getting 10 kills (regardless of the number of rearms which in turn DENIES "one sortie") is to fly in the horde. I admire the chest thumping, but you are "pretending" that this is easy to do. You need a 3-4 second burst of ALL guns to saw a wing off. You have enough ammo for about 3, maybe 4 kills a hop.

yup, but it still counts as a single sortie, you're just rearming. if you landed em then you would get a fresh undamaged ride. rearming isnt unfair or anything. and well, yes, flying smart does constitute flying with friendlies, but not so much as part of the horde. just smart flying with alt. and dont engage anyone who could potentially kill you.

that 10 kills per sortie is why it will be difficult. it's easy to get kills, but keeping them is far harder, and that's the challenge. so, first person to post a screenie of atleast 10 kills in the MA in hurri mk1 is the winner, anyone else want in? winner gets a big imaginary bottle of glenfiddich:aok

ahh, yes, you may be right. however in latin the v is a u, and it is easier to write in english, while also being easier to read for less educated people.

if you had no idea about latin, what would per ardva ad astra mean to you?

I can get 10 kills in a single sortie in an La7, A-8, D-11, Spit 16 (no rearming needed). But it gets old after awhile. When I get my new PC, I'll continue to fly the pre-43 planeset (D-11, 38G, Spit 1 or 5, Hurry 1 or 2C, 109F-4.

Karaya you fly the 84 a lot? It not only climbs good but hangs like a UFO. Once you slow it down only a handful of planes can stay with it(namely PJs and Niks). Only knocks against it I would say are compression and only avg speed. Other than that, it's a great bird.
