Ki84 is the best fighter in the game.  If you think all it can do is clime good, you should give it a try for a few days.  You may be surprised.  If nothing else, you wil get used to the PWs :lol

Agreed.  A few months ago we ran a setup in the CT, Spits (all of 'em) v. Ki84s.  First and last time I've ever seen Spits get eaten so much.

ki84 is an uber ride. BUT, it has no chance turning with a hurri. it has to get really slow to get it's flaps out

oh, and i cant do it by sunday, far too much stuff to do, lots of work, and im doing my film. but i hope to do it before the end of next week:aok

And that is the mistake every one makes.  Why on earth would you turn with a plane that you know, could not pull its nose up more than 1 time?  People are talking about turning as if it is the only factor that counts into winning a fight.

Slowing down and droping flaps, is only one of the many ways the Ki can kill a hurri.

Think 3D

yup, but not everyone you run into is a hotshot ace like yourself :)

general MA player cant fly planes like ki84's to their abilities.

Poof, since you never flew HMk1 in MA, let me tell you one thing.... Ki84 is one of the most dangerous opponent for a HMk1.... right after the Zekes.

Same pilot abilities (supposing that not both are noobs that only flatturn) my bets are definitly on the Ki.

yup, dead right. hurri will outturn it tho, especially at slightly higher speeds were the ki cant get flaps out at all. very rarely do i meet an 'equal' pilot in the MA, its usually noobs. on the off chance i do run into someone decent tho, while flying a hurri, oops!:lol

You are getting very cocky.  I find this entertaining.  BTW, I've been a Rook for 4 years, and have NEVER seen you in the MA.   Just a factual observation.

Poof, the only time youll get a HMk1 fast enough for keeping the Ki from dropping its flaps is in a STEEP dive. And as i stated: TURN is not the issue.

Fly a few Mk1 sorties before you keep talking.....

schatz, i fly both the hurri 1 and ki84 quite a bit in the DA, and i can tell you a ki doesnt turn anywhere near a hurri until it gets slow. it's because of the wings i guess.

and err, i have been flying hurrimk1 sorties in the MA ;) well, one or two :D
