Tha Skoda wagon ain't a bad looking wagon.  I know nothing about the brand, but looks quite nice in the picture.

Volvo is a good car and not a bad looking wagon either.

The Subaru Furby points out looks better as a sedan than a wagon.

As far as I know Skoda is basicly a VW but with a different badge on the front and made by less payed workers. Almost same quality as VW but cheaper and less "status".

Skoda is a Czech company and one of the oldest companies in the world with a long history of metalworking. Made artillery for Napoleon among other things. They’re most known for their off-road trucks, self-propelled artillery systems and now cars. They’re owned by the VW Group.

HERACY!

And, I have a Chevy Astro.

If it's any consolation, I hate the damn thing. The only reason I still drive it is it's paid for and still runs, it'll haul my planes, it'll haul my trailer and all the show gear, has all wheel drive, gets 24mpg and my kid never ever wants to borrow it.

I have a Skoda Fabia RS, a small hatchback.  Great car.  It's too bad they don't sell Skoda's in the states.  The Octavia in the picture is the sporting version called RS.  It has a the same motor found in the new Golf 2.0FSI 200PS.  All Skoda's share the same chassis and motor groups as VW and Audi.  Build quality is at least as good or better then VW and Audi.

If they are older then a month or so then they are normal Octavia's.  See there ya go, that will piss them off.

If family has to be taken along then i'd choose the new Alfa Romeo 159 sedan or SW.

And if one doesn't have to worry about room for family then i'd go with Alfa GT or  Mini Cooper S :)
