We'll be having one of those Virgin A340's (-300 though) over here in Finland in few weeks of time, operated by Finnair. It is rumoured to fly under Virgin's colours at first. They seem to be in a real hurry to get one for the summer.
It'll be rather different, because 4-engine jets are quite a rare sight over here. Triple jets are plentiful though.

Originally Finnair tried to get 8th MD-11, but they couldn't find a suitable plane and chose to have one more A343. They'll be operating with 4 A343's instead of originally planned 3. Supposedly A350's are to replace the 343's in the future.
Finnair's 7th MD-11 is an ER version, whereas the other 6 aren't. I think they received it from Brazil and I've heard that it wasn't in the best possible condition (I think the 8th MD-11 was abandoned due to bad condition of the other available planes).

At first I thought they were screenshots from a videogame. I don't know if that talks bad about my visual skills or good about videogames.

The 340 is a nice looking airplane.  The 380 looks like too much like a Super Guppy.

As an Anti-Sub Tactical Air Controller..I think this one is beautiful..Does Airbus make a Maritime Patrol Aircraft?

Boeing 737-MMA. It ain't a P-3C, but if they insist on replacing the best Naval Aircraft ever built, then I guess it will do.

The more I learn about the A380, and the more pictures I see of it like this, the more impressed I become with it.   It is a beautiful flying machine.

My personal preference, Airbuses are much more roomy than a Boeing and much more stable. I distinctly remember returning from LAX on a Boeing and being elbow-to-elbow with a dude while on an Airbus I was able to enjoy some luxury.
