well, if they put them at sea they are afraid they might find a war. better be safe than sorry.

besides, i wouldnt want to be a frenchman at sea with the royal navy about, it doesnt usually have a happy ending.

I have a 1972 photo of the first Boeing 747 in flight. The name of the plane is "Super Air Bus". Now you know where they got the name.

Raider ever heard of Blériot ?

If you look at the "genealogic tree" of Airbus you will find Sud Aviation ,Sud Aviation was the result of the merge between SNCASO and SNCASE and SNCASO was the result of the merge of several entities and Blériot.

I strongly doubt that Boeing was founded before Blériot

Be more carefull next time

Boeing founded in 1916, Bleriot joined SPAD as president in 1914

I just checked Blériot-Voisin was founded in 1905, now I'm off to bed it's too late
