Yep, that's where my father-in-law lives.
I sold one of my properties in Ennis, we were part of a property owners association that had board members for all the lots (each lot was roughly 30 acres) nestled at 7,000 ft. in the Gravelly Mountain range. Hunting and fishing rights to 10,000 acres.
Californians moved in, started buying up lots, got on the board and voted out the hunting laws and restricted the fishing on the 3 mountain lakes to catch and release (this lake cannot be fished out, its actually overpopulated with trout) We sold the lot due to what we call the Californication of the Landowners Association Laws. We were not the only ones who had purchased land with dreams and hopes of retiring and being able to hunt on land without restrictions as we had for many years previously.
