A Simpler Question?
« on: April 07, 2006, 10:19:18 AM »
All this esoteric intellectual debate over how the MA should be played has taken its course for me. This special interest group vs. that special interest group, this squadron ruined the game, this is how the game should be played etc. etc. I enjoy the MA no matter what evolutionary cycle it’s in at the current moment. No squad or individual has ruined the game for me or will. On that note I pose a much simpler question for FUN - along the lines of the “Chicken and Egg” conundrum.

Question: “What came first, the Vulcher or the Vulchee?”

For the GVers out there Camper and Campee can be substituted.

Cheers!

In theory, there were always easy kills on the runways; there was just no one to harvest them. However, since vulchee is a derivation of vulcher, which is a bastardization of vulture, there was no vulchee, until we had the first vulcher. Likewise, the vulcher had no purpose, no target, no polar opposite... he was undefined.

So, logically, they both came into being at exactly the same moment in time. Like dark and light, they can only coexist, for one without the other is nothing.

Yeah, we are having a meeting about you tonight.  Something has to be done about you.  Maybe HT can tell us if someone hijacked your account or something? :noid

Good deduction, but the bullets left the barrel of the vulcher before it struck the vulchee. Case closed.

but until the bullets hit, the vulchee was just another plane, and so, the vulcher was some dweeb randomly shooting bullets... just like the chicken or the egg, no matter how you look at it, it's impossible to say which came first
