hey

all day I have been looking at this game but I want to ask a few things

1. what do you do in this game
2. the "offline" that means you can fly without beening online
3. is it hard to control the planes/trucks
4. what do you think about the game

Yes, if you like it, it's a lot of fun.

you fight in a simulated war

offline means just that. You have no interaction with other players

it can be, it's hard to be succesful in them more than to just control them.

I enjoy it....most of the time. It's good to take a break if it begins to lose it's "fun" factor. Which it does sometimes.

It is going to be hard at first, but ask for help if you need it. Most people are very helpful. Read all the FAQs and fly a little offline first to set your controls up and make sure you are at least comfortable moving the plane around a little. After that, then make your account. Youll have 2 weeks to fly before you are asked for a credit card. That way, if you dont like it, you dont have to pay or even cancel your account. Simply dont put in your CC number at the end of the 2 weeks.

great game, nothing else like it. overall, a great community, great gameplay, lots of fun.

Welcome to the game. Most anybody you ask will be willing to help. The training arena is a good place to start.

I've tried a few other online flight sims and in my opinion, this is the best one.

The object of the game is of course to win the war. But if you just want to up a fighter and fight there's always a furball around somewhere. If vehicles are your style it's faily easy to find a tank fight, depending on the map. If you like flying bombers, go for it.

If you haven't got one, get yourself a stick, it'll make the game alot more fun. There are people who are very good at flying with a mouse, maybe you're one of them. Myself I use a saitek st290pro I got from wal-mart for $20.00. There are guys out there though that are using sticks that cost hundreds of dollars.

Use the offline mode to practice, you're the only player, and Skuzzy has seen fit to give us a few drones to shoot at.

I'm not answering all the questions.. but after today's frame 2 (of the current scenario) I can say it is pretty intense. And fun.

Oh, and you get to meet some great guys.

It`s the greatest show on earth for me.
At times I hate it (usualy due to myself)...at times I love it, but I always come back for more because it ROCKS. The learning curve is pretty steep, but that`s half the fun. You will decide in a short period of time whether it is right for you or not due to your personal interests. Give the 2 week trial a whirl and see how it goes. One word of caution: This game is very addictive if you are of "the type". Side effects that have been noted are sleepless nights. Extreme fits of laughter. Periods of total time loss (these can be identified by empty cans, chip bags, an aching posterior and red, near glowing eyes) It has also been known to have a strange effect on conversation habit changes identified by using such terms as "CC" "roger" and "check 6" in a real world setting. It has also been noticed by some to have an effect on driving such as an unusual desire to do a lead turn on the jerk who just cut you off in traffic. Marital problems are experienced by some as a side effect , but can usualy be handled with a credit card or an attorney in the extreme cases.

you will need a 12 step program to get off of it, but if you got a few years to waste go for it!

the 12 steps consist of walking to the window and letting go of your computer.
