Forward base for rearming and fuel

How about a forward base that you can setup in a clearing.

Make it have to be at least 10 miles out from nme and make it cost perks to use, maybe like 2 or 3 for arming and another 2 for fuel.

So around 5 or so, you dont get these back.

The player who sets it up gets 1/3 of perks spent. (2 or 2.5 per plane)

Make it cost 20 perks for player to set it up, it can be attacked and shut down player gets or loses balance of perks.

Will not show on any map and can be set up anywhere, player has to rearm refuel manually (by droping supps or seting up a hot pad) must stay at site till closed or destroyed. Maybe limit it to 20 planes.

let jeeps and or goons setup up bases.

just my 2 cents think would be good for squad ops

Interesting idea.
If HTC will put it in I'll use it.

Until they address re-arm pads at V-bases I think the chances are slim of something of that magnitude being implemented. Just my 2

would also put a use to the tractor like a m3/jeep or goon drop supplies for t and a tractor could activate it and build/repair it.

If supplies can be used to rearm and fuel stationary aircraft then all that is needed is flat grass!

I have often wondered why we can't use supplies to rearm/fix aircraft in the field. The ability to do this would certainly lead to increased use of the new Jeep we got!

You could make an emergency landing somewhere NEAR a base or spawn and get a buddy to come resupply you. The only thing it wouldn't fix would be pilot wound. The balanced part of this benefit is that you are a sitting duck until you get back up in the air.

I like this concept a lot.

I like the sound of it.......can have the jeep tugging a fuel tank behind it.....

Would be great to rearm and refuel anywhere possible....(flat terrain).

As for repairing aircraft....I dont like that. I mean i dont agree to being able to fix EVERYTHING on a GV either. Certain minor repairs and patches of course can be done in the field.

Examples:
* Patch a leaking fuel tank.
* Patch radiator and refill.
* Patch Eng Oil and refill.
* Patch up damaged hydraulic lines (flaps & jammed controls etc.)
[fixing gear would be a bit much though, needs all sorts of jacking equipment]
* Pilot wounds cannot be fixed but maybe the pilot can be given some first aid,
so that he bleeds less, lives longer and doesnt blackout as much.

There was a similar wish not long ago. This is definetly a wish many folks have. Maybe the best thing to do is just keep it on the fron burner.

You know, its a cool idea.  Having a GV provide a spot to do a fast refuel or even rearm

Kinda reminds me of the old movie "Firefox" when Clint Eastwood landed that mach 3 plane on the ice, refueled and shot back up  with the help of a sufraced sub

:)
