The Rubicon model will prolly be 28 or 29 base, hardtop prolly 29 to 30k.

I like the new short wheel base version better, looks a bit cleaner.

I like My body style better, but Jeep could have done far worse.

I like that they kept the solid axles. Meaning it will still be better off road then on.  I like how the Rubicons get a stronger Dana 44 in front. The ones they use right now are a Dana 44 carrier and pumpkin, but dana 35 stub axles and knuckles. (that way the brake and hub asembly stays the same across the line.

The new Dana 44 is also a high pinnion version. I hope somone makes a kit to bolt them into the older models.

Electric lockers instead of Air on the 07s... No opinion on that yet.

I like that it is a bit wider.  will make it more confortable but should not hurt it to much on the trails.

I dont like the new engine much, but maybe it will be ok, there is a talk of a Hemi in the 4 door version and a deisel for both.

Oh the new Rub will come with 32s BFG MTs instead of 31 inch good year MTRs.

Over all I think it is a decent step ahead without killing what a jeep is.

This looks promising. No word on pricing though.

Promising?  I've seen better designs in my cat's litter box.

They're finally going to offer a diesel option... maybe it'll be taken almost seriously for offroad use now.

I think its a sin that they destroyed the wrangler. If you like the grille that's cool. I think its stupid as hell. Worse than the square head lights ever were. The 4 door thing is nice... But its not a wrangler with 4 doors.

Not to worry... there is still the 2-door version.

I don't know about anywhere else but here it seems there are 2 distinct types of Jeep Wrangler drivers:

1. The guy that is the outdoors type.

2. The girl that wants to be a guy but likes girls type.

I kno sand, but I still think the grill is pretty bad looking. They had it almost looking like the old CJ's. Now it looks like it has to take a dump. :(

I dont mind the grill so much, it is the low door sills that do not look right to me. It is going to look pretty silly with the doors off.

Yeah, but anything with four doors probably will look silly without them.

Instead of 4 doors, they should've made it with longer 2-doors.

True but the 2 door has the low sills as well.  It, I think is the biggest departure in style.   I bet they did it cause people complain about having to step over it.

I bet stock versus stock the new Jeep Rubicon will walk all over the Rav4 for dikes. (the toy FJ)
