I do it if the guy was an ackstar, or a respawn quaker, or something like that, and I feel like punishing him.  Much better than making a rude comment on Ch 1 IMHO.

Mostly I just like to dive in and waggle my wings (no shooting).

For whatever reason, chute shooting has become a tactical option, so if you are motivated to do so... why not?

I will say that the one good reason I can see for doing this is when you come upon someone who bails before he even gets hit once. Kill him, and I hope some stray rounds spawn with him! I can't stand dropping 15k only to have a guy bail. In fact, I wish we had something like HT's old VFilm so we can identify these guys, and maybe even publicly humiliate them!

Voss out...

LOL

Often times I will line up on a chute, I want to make sure they see me coming.  Now comes my decision piont, how do I feel about life this exact milisecond.

If I feel good, I fly on by giving a crisp one finger salute.

If I feel bad, then it is a two finger salute and I stick out my tongue.

Wah!

Is it just me or does anyone else find that shooting some poor little guy with 4x20mm's to be just slightly cruel?  I mean sure, they won't feel it, but c'mon...the humanity!  Increase the Peace!!   Actually...I'm all for shooting those punk mofo's down.  Strafe on bruthas!

I always shoot the chutes when there is no danger to do such.....

Its funny the people that whine about chute killing are the same people that open their chute at 1000' or more....

I got a good story the other day some guy was spying near 1, i dived at him, switched weapons to my 250kg, and LOOK OUT BELOW from about a 1k out....(guess he didn't .ef quick enough or just didn't care)

Vaporized him  !!!!!   Muhahahaha Spying Jackal... Take that..

On a lighter note:

I've been cut in half trying to ditch more than i've ever been killed in the chute..(1-2 times in 3 camps)

Plus lately after changing countries a bit i come to dislike certain non skilled pilots(leaving me after i save their butt, no mercy now dogs..) so at all cost's If i know who it is I always cut them in half...

And I know its a double edged sword so bring it on.....

might change my name to:

Must say I didn't know there was so many chute killers out there. I don't club seals andf I don't shoot chutes. Where's the challenge? Target almost dead in the air, not moving.

Now, a ditching aircraft is another matter; a potential kill, PLUS the pilot has the option of bailing. Not my fault if he doesn't

Maye I should change this philosophy and add "kill chute shooters" to even things up a little.

"I don't club seals and I don't shoot chutes. Where's the challenge?"

StSanta. Ya don't club seals? Boy oh boy... that in itself is an ART... It's like, pure bliss. The seduction, the lure, temptation... It's all there. Then WHACK!

It's so... so... beautiful.. I'm getting choked up here. I need a tissue.

What is this thing you speak of?  What is this "landing" thing?

It was in a dream I had.  I did it once, landed that is. And the feeling, well it was____ ?

____Frightening? !

The dream suddenly turned horrific when I gazed down and saw there were still numbers in the ammo register on the dash. <shiver>

 (I did land. Once!)
