grand slam bomb for lanc

the b-29 probaly won,t ever happen--nukes most certainly won,t--but the lanc was capable of hauling a 22,000 lb grand slam bomb--devastating!!--maybe perk it--a new skin for lanc would be nice also

We already have it.  Take up a tree lanc fully loaded and divethem to the ground.

The Lancs that could carry the Grand Slam had modified fuselages (bomb bay doors removed, fairings added) so it would be a little harder than just adding the bomb to the list.

We'd need much longer runways, too!

Still... I'd love to see this one get added.

Most, if not all, Lancasters had the same skin, just different tail numbers and nose art.  If you want to redo a full bomber just for noseart well, go at it!

 I don't see how that applies unless you're talking about all the "noobs who want nooks" the B-29 would be an ok buff to add; unless they added in the problematic engine fires & other problems with the plane that made the crews hate them etc. The nuke capable planes were a modified version & I think HTC is against putting versions of anything in the game that were special one time deal modifications.

 I was reading something the other day about Lancs & it said the normal combat payload was 12,000 pounds & that 14,000 was used on some targets but not considered "normal". The grand slam 22,000 pounder I think would be one of those special modifications HTC isn't keen on.
