On the Evening news NBC aired a story about a boy who lives within the area controled by the "Northern Alliance."
Aside from the common "Poor Boy" approach that was obvious in the article, there was one thing that bothered me: The boy had on "Eye Liner." (TV style Make Up)
It was applied in such a way to make his eyes look saggy.
OK, so I guess we are being fed a bit of extra BS in the media.
